Hi. I recently bought a Croma 2.2 At 2005 and I am really blown away by how comfortable this car is. I had a Peugeot 307 couple of years back and this car reminds me of it allot. There are some minor things that needs to be checked as one can expect from a 2005. The battery needs replacing and the heater is not working but thats about it. Can anyone tell me where to start trouble shooting the problem?

Hi Johann & welcome.
If the heater blower works on the top setting it will be the blower resistor pack which has a thermal cut out which blows. if its not working at all there is a relay in the engine compartment control unit which is near the battery. Should be marked T08.
Hope this helps.

Hi Tarquin. Thanks allot for the advice. I will let you know what the outcome is...

It should be plugged into where the power enters the blower. Think you have to take the cover off under the glove compartment? Check in the forum tools on the first page for exact details of how to get at it . My experience is with my sons Punto MK11 . There are resistor packs all over E-Bay so you should be ok to get one fairly cheap. But dont go for a second hand one as you wont know if it is of or not till you plug it in.
If it does turn out to be the resistor check the contact it plugs into , they often found to be corroded and that means a whole lot of messing about or a new blower!!!

Will do if Hull beat the Arse-nal at wemberlee.
As a Sheff Wed fan I am not predisposed towards Arse-nal getting anything at Wemberlee ;-)
