If its the 4 cyl petrol..
Coolant leaks..
The thermostat.. Battery end of engine can have a Plastic stub... Goes brittle and can fail.. Losing coolant
Teach her how to see the radiator level.. Shining down the side of the level tube with a torch
Other engines are 'modern'... And use a remote reservoir that's easy to use
2 other bigger issues..
Corrosion of the rear suspension.. Spring pans coming adrift
Rear hatch wiring.. It stresses and cracks
I bought a 2018 4 cyl 18 months ago.. Apart from oil consumption.. It's all good
