Panda (Classic) newbie

Hi, just saying hello before annoying everyone with dumb ,previously asked and answered questions.
I`ve joined the forum to help my 18 year old grandson sort out his first car,a 1994 panda 1000 clx. For me this is new territory as i`ve never owned or worked on ANY fiat before, being stuck in a 1970`s time warp revolving around Fords. Please treat my comments and questions with patience as i have a lot to learn.

You've certainly come to the right place for info on your grandsons panda, the guys in the classic panda section are great Just be carefull though, I've heard these classic pandas have a habit of breeding, and before you know it, you can end up with a whole family of Pandi!

You're in the right place for Panda help - there are a great bunch of people here & a wealth of knowledge. It helps to be slightly mad, but that will come naturally if you stay here long!!

I've got a soft spot for '70's Fords, though obviously '70's Fiats are better....

Hi Geoff, welcome to the Forum.

Pandas are a great starting point for learning about and getting into Fiat's, they're a great finishing point too so don't feel that you have to start looking at all types of Fiat old and new.

Just as simple to work on as 70's Fords but later models will start to introduce modern electrical gubbins, this too is basic though.

Hope your Grandson and yourself enjoy the Panda experience, it's good to be different, everyone does Escorts!
