a lancia is a fiat and a fiat is a lancia

True, it's the old mixed DNA. As the integrale which was spawned from the Delta which in turn was based on the floor pan of the Fiat Strada/Ritmo.

Welcome to the forum mate, I take it it's a 16V going on the bonnet, or has that been added to an 8V as I also see someone has added an EVO roof spoiler?

As you can see I have a EVO 1, amazing car, likes to stay indoors now as its winter ;-)

A couple of good sites you should visit are;

http://www.evoforum.net run by my mate J-P who has a Martini 6 & who is also the organiser for this http://www.londontobrightonrun.com/index_l2b.htm
And this one which is the forum, bit diff from here as the average age of your typical integrale owner is older, but the knowledge base is superb.

Actually baring in mind how unreliable Integrale's are maybe not such a strange name.

Blasphemer!

I've had my integrale for 2 years, 18months of which it was a daily driver, & took it up to Scotland on holiday last summer, do you know how many times it broke down? Never!

The problem with any car like this, be it Cosworth, Imprezza's, Sunny GTiR's Celica GT4's is you have to remember these cars where £25,000+ when they came out 10-15 years ago and ok you can buy examples of any of theses cars now for 5-6k (good integrale's still go for 10k+ really good ones 20+) but just because they're 5-6k car's does not mean it has the same service costs of a 5-6k car new.

Service history is crucial, as it must show cambelt changes every 20,000miles or 24months which ever is sooner, & as this is a £450 job many people leave it in the hope of everything being ok, but snap the cambelt your looking at £2k to replace the head! :eek:

Engine oil every 3000miles, but then thats a must in any turbo car. Plus the dif oil must be replaced every 2 years as well, gear box oil 3 years, do this & its as if not more reliable than any of the similar cars. Sunny's very week gearbox's, Imprezza's weak difs & crankshafts, Cosworth, to many mentalists turn the boost up too high and blow the feekers up! Plus drive train is rubbish as its based on the old Sierra XR4*4 so is about the oldest system in the world. Lancia didn't win 6 WRC titles in a row with an unrealiable car, & remember in the late 80's eraly 90's the WRC cars were in fact tuned road cars unlike today! :D
