hello everyone i have just purchased a mk2b punto 2004 1. 8v
the car has just gone for its mot it failed on rear brake compensator seized.. and a leaky cylinder which is being done tomorrow
i have no pictures at the moment but will upload when i do its shiny metalic grey.
the car has the wrong colour or a badly painted front bonnet as the previous owner told me someone had chucked brake fluid on it and its been resprayed by a can..
since checking everything out (after getting the car home i discovered the car had been crashed..
i have put a new slam panel on it and the bumper now sits properly and needed a bit of plastic welding on the lights but thats all done now.
first job is to have the paint sorted which ive been quoted 80 for an almost perfect colour match i am.
plans for the car are as follows (completely standard at the moment)
remove side bumps
De bade rear end de badge the front (replacement grill)
abarth rear bumper
front mk2b sporting bumper (as im told the abarth will not fit?)
abarth side skirts
some nice alloys probably 15inch and lowered 40-50mm
this should all be done by christmas this year and ill see where im going from there
