Punto (Mk2/2b) Newbie with a mk2 punto

Sup brah/brahettes, so I recently bought a punto 1.2 8v and I never had intentions of changing it at all, but thanks to my mates they have convinced me. The first thing I want to do is get the wheels banded because to be quite honest I think they look nice and I don't really have a clue about.... well anything really. So if anyone could help me out that would be awesome! I would like the whole set of wheels to be banded to 8J but I don't know if the fronts will still fit the car? And what would be the best size tyre to buy with little stretch?

Welcome to the forum. first thing to do is ask insurer how much this will be extra on policy first.
