Hey there, just joined up after reading much info on here!

I have just, (an by just, I mean last night), got a Fiat 500 - its the ByDiesel 1.3 multijet in Black.

Was scouting about for a good 500 and certainly found the best one I could from Rockingham Motors in Corby. Only has 5,750 miles on and is 18 months old, looks great!

I started with Fiat's - in 1997 with J-reg Fiat Panda, before getting a second Panda then a Punto. Since then I have had a Golf mk4, Toyota Celica and just part ex'd my Audi A4 estate for the 500. I am over the moon so far and really can't get over how great I am finding it so far!

 Hi! and welcome to the forum. Nice choice of car, (a ByDiesel Diesel should save any confusion) a few of our members have ByDiesels and they seem very good value, especially S/H when you consider the extras they have as standard.

One of our members also has a black one and he has removed the tailgate and side mouldings and I think the result is really good. Hope to see you in the 500 section soon and when you get time upload some photos to the members gallery so we can all appreciate your car. (y)

I certainly will get over to the 500 section!

I saw the modded bydiesel that you mentioned and whilst I think its pretty cool, I think I'm gonna keep mine as it is!

After only ever owning petrol cars I was a little worried that I might get the wrong fuel at some point - but the car has diesel written all over it!!

Thanks for the welcome!

Having some fun with the blue&me system!

I'm not sure how compatible the iphone 4 is, but the dealership set up my phone so it works with calls - not really sure how it will work for music but I guess that's something I need to look in the forum for help on!

Thanks Grimwau - the phone works fine as a phone in the car, hooked up fine and phonebook is perfect. Its not working as an mp3 player but I didn't really buy the car cause of that - i will just get a USB stick. Only problem is having to convert all my tunes from mp4 to mp3 - its gonna take ages!
