My name is Dom and i have just signed up to this great site.
My previous car was a 2003 Citroen Saxo VTR in black done 150k miles. I work for a garage in Winnersh and we also buy and sell cars from the same site. We recently had a lovely Blue 100HP come in that the owner wanted to sell as he was moving away, so the boss bought it and offered me first dibs on it if i could raise the cash.
So, smitten with the car, i had to have it! But really needed to get for the Saxo what the Panda was gonna cost me to buy.
So on to eBay, which ensued the usual losers and wasters who offered me no money for the Saxo and told me i would never get what i wanted for it. So that yielded no sale!:bang:
Gave up for a few weeks thinking i would never shift the VTR, and had already accepted i would be keeping her for a while longer, and miss out on the Panda.
Just for a laugh i stuck the VTR on Gumtree, mostly because it was free to advertise, and i loath having to pay to advertise my car anywhere for sale tbh! Completely forgot about the advert and thought it had ended, until i got a phone call on Monday from a guy who`s misses was after another Saxo after her`s was written off.
So he came, he saw and went away to think about it. A few hours later and he said he would have it for the price i was after, and picked it up that night!:slayer:
So, with cash in my pocket, at work Tuesday i slapped the wad in my bosses hand, and now the proud owner of a lovely Fiat Panda 100hp:slayer:
I will get pics of it up when i have given her a good clean and the sun is out, hopefully the weekend.
I have already browsed this site for a while looking at bits to do and what to look for etc... hence the reason for joining and becoming a fully fledged member.
I hope you will accept me with open arms!
