General Newbie to the 500 here.

Hiya!
I am a 500 newbie about to pick up my car on Friday, just trying to figure out what spec I have bought (Hands up, I fell inlove on sight!) Its a 2009 (58 plate) 1.4 dualogic sport with full cherry red leather seats. I got my other half to inspect the engine side and after a rather hairy test drive, first time in an auto, I fell in love and bought it. So...my question is, does anyone know what spec is standard and what would be an optional extra on that model. Its black with the Italian stripe down each side. Thanks in advance

Hello & welcome!

The original customer would've paid extra for the Dualogic gearbox, the leather interior & the Italian stripes.

On the Sport the standard spec was electric windows & mirrors, aircon, remote locking, Blue&Me (Bluetooth & Media Player), leather steering wheel, front fog lights & 15" alloy wheels.

The list of other possible extras was quite long but includes Climate Control (aircon with digital display), Interscope Hifi system, glass roof (fixed or opening), bigger alloy wheels, side rubbing strips, passenger seat with memory (returns to original position when letting people in the back) and leather gear knob.

Not a newbie to Fiat, had a bright orange Doblo about 10 years ago and then a Multipla for a few years after that. I loved both cars but now my kids are all grown up I don't need all the car seat space or buggy boot space. Excited to get back into a Fiat
