hi everyone

i am new to the fiat game and i am looking for my first car i would really like a panda 4x4 as they are very cool. at the moment i drive a 1969 hillman imp as a daily car.

what is the going price for a fiat panda 4x4 it doesnot matter what condition it is in as i will be doing it up over the next year or 2
thanks
stuart

Welcome.
Yes they are cool. I wanted one as my first car too but at the time I couldn't find one and wound up getting a Niva. I was then very lucky and picked up a 4x4 in good condition for £100. I then got a 2nd (project condition) for £80 with a 3rd (shed condition) thrown in for free plus freshly shot-blasted and powder coated bullbars too!

However, that was a few years ago and I was lucky, a more realistic for a good condition one is £500-800. An absolute minter maybe £1000+. One needing alot of work a couple of hundred.
If you're after a Sisley edition you might need to pay more as for some reason folk have a thing for having canoe graphics on their seatbelts.

i am after one that will be as cheep as possable to buy i know this might annoy some people but i hope to transform it into a mongol rally car for either next year or the year after after the rally it will become my everyother day car so it will not be left in europe/mongolia/russia it will be coming back to the uk garenteed

cheers stuart

Yeah, don't get them started on the Mongol rally they'll be having kittens!!...

That said, as long as you intend on bringing it back you'll get plenty of support. I also heard that they've changed the rile so no cars older than 10 years can take part to stop Mongolia becoming Europes crap car dumping ground. Though Pandas were made till 2002 you would strugle to get one in the UK that new. But if you're bringing the car back I suppose that rule won't apply.

yes i will be bringing it back as i plan to use it almost eveery day

you can use a car older than 10 years a friend of mine is on this years rally and currently in the cheq republic in a 1965 hillman imp but you have to pay £1500 deposit

Why Mongol Rally?

Why not make your own adventure up

the mongol rally is somehing that i have wanted to do for years (im only 17 btw) and i only just missed going with my mate this year so next year or the year after we might be going in convoy helping eachother as we go or splitting us and meeting eachother at borders to ensure that they are ok

dont worry i am deffinatly going to bring the car back i swear:)
