Very its just time consuming, you have rca wires and the remote wire going to the headunit, and then a ground to any metal surface in your boot (mines on my boot clip) and a power wire running from your battery, I can get pics up of how I wired mine to help you if you would like?

Here are the pics:

Red (Power wire) from battery to the firewall (in the background there) make sure it has a in-line fuse not to far away from the battery.

The hole to pass the wire through in the firewall into the inside of the car.

The wire will come out on the passenger side so i pushed the wire behind the centre console over to the drivers side. As you run the Power wire on the opposite side to the other cables.

The wire then runs along the side of the car (you can hide the wire under most of the plastic trims by simply unclipping the trims). It then connects to the sub. Under the power wire is the remote, then the ground and then the RCAs.

I grounded my wire out on the Boot clip as i found that the easiest place.

The RCAs then run along the opposite side to the power wire, plug into the 2 (or 4 if you have a better headunit) sockets at the back of your headunit.

As for the remote wire this runs alongside the RCAs, but i would have to see a pick of the back of your HU and the wires coming out of it to say which one you connect up to.

Anymore questions or want some more pics feel free to ask :D

For the MJP, I went for an Alpine CDE-120RR (Red Illumination - goes nicely with orange illumination on dash) @ £49.90 (Halfords Clearance). Front doors - stock tweeters retained + set of Pioneer TS-G 1755's (17 cm 3 ways new spring 2000 and long since obsolete!) @ £0 sat in garage having been in the front doors of my Serena previously. Rears - Ripspeed RS-102's (10 cm coax's) @ £7.99 (Halfords Clearance again!). Plus £ 6.55 off the bay for facia, release keys & harness (not required) and iso to standard arial adapter. Second car so done on a budget (y)

You say your a music man. Those Fli 66 comps and Edge subs don't produce anything like music.
Take your time and do it properly. There are plenty of great components around second hand for under £100.
I suggest you do some research on good makes. Not Halfords special rubish.
