Newbie needs help

Hi,
Have just joined this Fiat Forum in the hope of getting some help.......
I have an old Fiat Uno Diesel Van (1994) which I have just spent in excess of £700 on with my local garage. However that all now seems in vain as they are unable to get some parts for me and I have offered to help. Can I post what I am looking for here or can someone recommend anyone that may be able to help me?

I do know a fiat specialist but he is in hertfordshire. Most of the fiat parts should be generic to any diesel uno, what are you after in particular?
