Grande Punto Newbie needing advice!

Got my first car, a 1.4 8v 56 plate and recently hat the inner and outer track rod replaced but since i have i've had a creaking, vibrating noise coming from what seems like my steering rack, after i pick up speed it dissapears, but thats probably because the engine drowns it out.

Does this happen a lot? what should i look for when i jack it up?

any help would be appreciated
