Good Morning Everyone

I have a Fiat Punto Evo 2011 about 33,000 on the clock and have recently just had the discs and pads replaced about 3 weeks ago (was in for a service) but the last few days I have started with a clunking noise when I break, its been mentioned this could be the carriers being a little worn, does anyone have any ideas if this could be true & how expensive it could possibly be?

Thanks
Claire

Hi. And welcome.

Does it do it all the time. Or just for the 1st couple of stops..?
try it at low speed on forward and reverse.

If its a loose pad it should sound different. LOOSE CALIPER/ FRAME will sound the same.

Either way I would get it checked..
just good to discover a little more before being fobbed off by a garage..

Thanks for the reply (",)

Doesn't do it all the time just generally on first starting the car and coming to a stop I guess, work colleague mentioned a calliper also so hopefully nothing serious or expensive.
