Newbie in need of help!

Hi, New to the forum and motorhomes in general. Just aquired a Fiat Autotrail Apache 700SE. But now have major issues with the electrics! No lights, no windscreen wipers, no heater. Losing the will to live. Does anyone know what I can do? Or does anyone know of a good electrics man/woman who can help. Supposed to be going away in it on Wednesday!!!

Leave a clue as to which area you live in.
If you have just bought it from a dealer contact them. If private sale ask previous owner if problem happened before.
Check all the fuses.
Check earth wire from battery.

Get on a pc..use Search..in advanced

Then search for electric step issues..

a few basics,
how long have you had it.. did SOME stuff not work properly before?

done any work / servicing that MAY have disturbed things??

the electric step is often associated with messing up charging

at 2003 is should have a fair chance of proper diagnostics for the cab-side electrics.. could offer that one afternoon

is the habitation side effected?

Habitation side is fine, just the cab electrics seem to be affected. Are you mobile, as I said I'm due to go away on Wednesday and really need it fixed before then! Can you fit it in before then?

I have no problem with the step at all

I work off Audlett Drive. So An hour in the afternoon is quite possible.

So..what was the history to this??

Sounds like disturbed wiring/ lost earth.
