Hi:
I live in the Dominican Republic and just bought an '04 Fiat Marea 1.6 SX with auto tranny for my wife...cool, economical and practical car...

Need to know the following:
It has 55,000km in the dash, is it time to change the timing belt?
What basic tuneup should I do by the km?
I know basic stuff should be changed like:
Air filter
Fuel filter
Spark plugs
Wires
Belts
Oil and oil filter

Does it have a distributor? If it does I should change dist. cap and rotor, right?
Where can I find a service manual for the car?

get the timing belt AND the tensioner as well, other wise you might as well not bother. Then as said change oils filters plugs - standard service items

The tensioner has just gone on my partners saab 95 griffin, £1000 and rising:cry:

repeat after me

timing belt AND the tensioner
timing belt AND the tensioner
timing belt AND the tensioner
timing belt AND the tensioner

How many more km's should my wife drive without worrying about the cam belt?
