Hi there guys,

Been doing allot of reading and thank you for keeping the forum informational and easy to get around in.

I am moving over from a 1.8 sport MX5 to the Fiat 500 twin air. If all goes well I will take delivery this friday. Then we are going for a full day of driving on Saturday. The reason for the change was cost and it just looks fun to drive.

I will keep you guys posted on my journey to Fiat-500-dom

Manage to get 7 day free insurance ready for collection this Friday from Fiat. I just hope they will give us a good deal on the yearly quote.

Any feedback about how much people pay out there for say 2 year NCB and age above 30 and 10000 miles a year?

Thanks guys

I use Adrian Flux as they have special deals for the 500 and also discount for forum members. Give them a ring FOC or email them for a quote.

Great thank you mate, I will give them a ring to see what they can do. I will let you know.

cheers

Hi there mate,

We tried the suggested company but they came in at over 800 pounds compare to Fiats own insurance of 407 pounds.

We went for the Fiat insurance

Cheers

It just proves that shopping around works. They insured the wife and I on the Abarth 500 for a very good price which is why I was happy to recommend them.

Glad you got a good price. (y)

Great stuff, I was so hoping to get the price down to about 350 pounds but I found out that you can only get close to that price on the 1.2Pop model. So I phoned the garage and asked the guy... he told me the price for the twinair would be more as the engine is more powerfull than the 1.2 pop. That small difference makes up the 50 pounds. But atleast I am saving on the MOT's and the roadtax.

Thanks for the help mate
