Having bought a car and doing some maintenance on it thought I'd join forun find out a bit about the cars and post question. Fairly simple would have thought - but no response. I admit I don't know anything about Fiats - but thought this would be the place to start to learn anout them (and possibly contribute when I feel I am able). Oh well - I certainly won't get any answers now, so after my brief visit i'll leave you with it.

Hi CooperS, what was your query ...hate to see you go...

Sorry, but what were you expecting? A fully trained mechanic with a complete workshop manual waiting on line for people to ask obscure questions? I can guarantee that someone here will know but will they look at the thread? They may eventually but you have to wait for answers this is a free forum with a lot of knowledgeable people but it is not a Fiat sponsored site manned by mechanics.

Did you try downloading the manuals the info may be in those.

Instant responses and too high expectations from cooperS, sounds like they need a chill pill or to learn how to google and research

Wow, just wow. I saw that thread and tbh I agree with Andy's answer, but do i know for sure? No! So i didn't answer. I really don't see why the hub nut needs to come off.

I've been here for about 2 months now, and everyone is really nice (if a little sarcastic at times :p ) so I'm not really sure what the problem is, apart from a lack of patience.

I've posted questions and got zero response but on others I've been overwhelmed with info so it just depends on what you are asking.

I know nothing of the wonders of mechanics so I don't answer technical questions. If Grace is the lady who works at the hospital where the hell does Patience work then?

no that's not right, you can politely explain to them but no need to have a go and make them feel less welcome. they are attempting their own repair they will learn from that and be able to pass info on to others.

It was a joke dave, don't panic!(y)

Anyway, judging by the contribution of others on this thread, I think there is general agreement the tone of the original post was a little OTT wouldn't you agree?

Am sure if the OP comes back all will be forgotten pretty soon...would be a shame if they didn't as there is plenty of useful stuff to be found on here.
