Technically not ice... but i couldn't think of anywhere else to put it...
Just heard from the guys @ head office they relayed some info about new tomtom units, i dont know how old this information is, but they hope for release about aprilish,
basically they have a wider screen and a more contemprary feel to them, they look pretty sexy.

apart from a bigger screen the new units have erm.. *reads paperwork*
"more precised mapping" and an "mp3 player"
the higher end unit the 910 also has detailed mapping of europe and north america build in to it on it's 20 gb HDD.. pretty cool...
The new units are as follows:
510
710
910
the current tomtom Trafic needs for you to have a GPRS enabled bluetooth mobile to be able to pick up signals of where traffic is busy, the new wave will have an arial (optional extra of course) that allows you to get this informatino free.
according to this, you will be be able to view traffic, road condtions, and tomtom Cameras... maybe this hints at wifi?
the only other feature is Tomtom Home, which is basically a dock for your home pc, theres a similar feature called tomtom WORK.. which one can only assume is a dock for your work?
thats all i've got atm, theres nothing on TOMTOM's site about this, but it's come from HO, so it's pretty definate to be official.
just thuoght i'd let you know incase you were looking tobuy a new sat nav in april.
i'll keep updating as i get more info.
