Excellent thanks for the link. sorry it has been a while since an update and a distinct lack of pictures. So having to progress a bit on the 309 the panda has been on the back burner a bit.

Last weekend got the rear bumper off and the rear up on axle stands to discover a very clean rear panel which surprised me a lot, only issue was the seal lip rotten inside and out but that will get sorted soon. Next question is how does the filler neck attach to the body?, I do not want to break it as advised above. Hoping the rain holds off tomorrow so the rear suspension can be stripped off and I can start repairing the sills.

Oh also any ideas on a pair of outer sills? most of the suppliers are all out

The filler neck is clipped in and is hard to remove without damage, I ended up breaking mine when I removed it from my Sisley, but some other members have managed it with success so they might share some tips on doing it(y)

I think you will have to visit Italian eBay for some sill panels, have a look at the suppliers sticky at the top of the forum. If you are replacing the outer sills then removing the suspension won't really gain anything. With the outer sills cut off you can get good access to the inner panels from the outside.

Hmm it seems the suppliers are out so may be constructing my own sills at work, love a challenge.
So with the fuel cap off does the outer ring twist out? Or is it just a push fit?. Rear suspension/axle and prop off today so I can get the wire wheel in to clean up the scabby bits on the floor. Should have mentioned this is getting a full strip to a shell as it will be getting resprayed in Ford modems green, Sarah has decided even she bought a red panda, she doesn't want a red panda ha ha. Such is life though gives me a chance to get my teeth into something whilst the rally car is on hold

Oh could someone tell me how to link pictures, can't find it atm in my phone

Filler cap ring is a push on and click into place job, so to release you have to get your hand up the back inside the wheel arch and squeeze the lugs inward and ease the ring out to release. Very awkward to do in a non destructive way.
.. The pictures thing, basically, don't use a phone. Never worked it out without a proper PC.
