Hi guy,

New to these forums, currently i have been a long time owner of a 1996 mark 1 1.2 60 punto, upgraded to a mark2B same engine (really slow), but now i have got my self a beauty, just went and bought a 2006 Grande punto 1.9 JTDM the 96KW version (150bhp i believe). What do you guys think, was thinking of lowering but curently in the czech republic the roads are really bad so probably not going to do that.

96kw=130bhp. Still plenty though.

I see you have been busy with the black wrap.

okay 130 bhp but it is more then plenty when it drive 220 KMH without much problem(playing around on a motorway a bit),

Yes the black wrap well i liked it, it give the punto an evil look, it was done preety well by my freind and I but it will probably come off and i will get it sprayed on instead.

Tidy looking GP. Yeah get it lowered. You think the roads are bad where you are, you haven't seen British roads and transport :bang: Vast differences between summer and winter means we have potholes open up almost as much as often as roads are resurfaced :yuck:

Always love black on red theme. Liking the headlights alot too, and get those alloys done in black, will really set the car off!

Lived in westdrayton in england since i was 2 until i moved when i was 21, dont worry i know english roads very well and the potholes are like marbles compared to the holes in czech, the differences in weather in czech range from +40 degrees in summer to -30 degrees in winter, so that kinda explains it. I loved the buses though 2 quid to go 4 stops amazing.

The alloys acctuallly arnt on the car at the moment as in czech you have manditory winter tyres and those are on a set of normal disks, but yes i will get the wheels refurbished and done in black to get the proper black on red theme, i also like red on black but its not as eye catching.

well see about the lowering first thing what i want to do is get the black sprayed and then a proper air induction, try get the gearbox strenghted so that it doesnt go as soon as i start doing some other upgrades. then probably a proper downpipe with a 3,5 inch straight pipe to the back.

all depends if i get the parts or not

Ah WestDrayton, I lived there when I was a student at brunel. I can see why you moved so far away!
