New Stilo Abarth

Has anyone tried the new stilo Abarth yet? Only I tried it a few days ago and didn't think much of it. I have 99 155 HGT at the moment and I love it, I tried the Stilo Abarth with is selespeed gearbox and it was the roughest gearchange I'd ever experienced. It's smoother to do clutchless gearchange in my HGT than a standard one in the Stilo - Seriously!
Even in auto mode its the roughest box I've ever driven - its even rougher than a racing box.
What does anyone else think - did I just drive a bad one?

White Dials

I drove one and the fact they had put white dials in it just about summed it up! What a piece of ****, it is slow, unresponsive and very very tacky. It was desinged after they watched Judge Dread! The main thing I didn't like, which you also being a tin top racer may have found, was the high driving position. I drove FF1600's for a short time some years ago and since then I don't like my bum high off the ground as I feel very unstable!

I too have a 155 HGT and it by far a superior car, and I don't rate the my HGT that high!

Depends what you want in a road car though eh? The HGT's quick enough - I still do a lot of racing - even got the chance to do a few laps in an F1 car a few weeks ago.
I've got one of the few Yellow ones, I've never seen another Yellow HGT and only 1 HLX, theres not many cars you can say that about and thats what I like about it.

Ah! My '00 155 HGT is Broom Yellow too. There is also a woman who lives about 200yards away from me who has a broom yellow HLX!

However there are over 20 Bravo's in the village where I live!

I too have a 155 HGT in yellow. I have never seen another one despite living close to two Fiat garages! But rarity does not put up the second hand value....
