Styling New sporty exhaust

Hi Guys,

Just a quicky this time, looking at getting a sporty looking and sounding exhaust for my 1.6 sport 3dr. I have found a load of custom made to fit exhausts by Sportex. Has anyone used a Sportex exhaust and know what they are like?

Also any preference on shapes that look best? Thinking of a twin 3" jap style tailpipe.

Hmm I'm not sure I would rush into as wide a pipe as that. Could muck up engine breathing and cause power to drop...

Sorry for the delayed reply, currently dealing with my head gasket that went a couple weeks ago typical lol.

He was just on about the exhaust tip style, not the whole exhaust being 3".

I got one in the end, the pipe is the standard size, the tip is larger though, has a nice rumble to it

got any pics buddy? i am having mine done on my jtd multiwagon over christmas, i have a stainless steel twin back box in the shed, but think a nice outwardly rolled 3.5" twin would look nice or just remove the backbox and put on a straight pipe

It sticks out a little far at the moment but I will be trimming down the centre pipe to pull it back a bit when I get a chance, looks alright though and sounds quite nice to be honest.

Defos go for the straight pipe! A mate of mine had an 05 Fabia VRS 1.9tdi with a remap and complete straight through exhaust with a nice tailpipe welded on the end, sounded amazing for a diesel and the turbo whine was awesome!

Yeah sort of already made my mind up on that one.... think i may remove the centre box too at the same time.... hopefully get my lowewring springs for crimbo..... then i can go low and and have the exhuast done... should have a tidy looking estate (already is though)
