Hi, Just joined the forum after lurking for a couple of weeks. My daughter has bought a 2000 Seicento SX as her first car and it's Dad's duties to be looking after it :) So far reading the forum has helped me fix a leaking sunroof (not leaking at all but blocked drain hole cured with a blast from an air compressor) and given me piece of mind about the slight "tappetty" ticking.

The colour is called grey but I'd say it was more of a ice blue and has only done 38000 miles. I think they are genuine looking at the MOT mileage back to 2010. Having never owned a Fiat or a small engine car before I was pleasantly surprised how well the 899cc pulled and coped with 70mph on the dual carriageway. It has PAS which I believe was an optional extra on this model. She has called it "Gino" for some reason and I'll try to get some pics of it uploaded sometime.

The only issue at the moment is a slightly squeaky alternator belt when under load (headlights, rear screen heater) at idle. It looks like someone has previously sprayed belt sticky on it, I did tighten the belt at the weekend which has improved it a bit but I guess a new belt will be the proper fix.

Having had company cars for the last several years I'm actually quite enjoying doing some DIY maintenance again - only don't tell my daughter, it's good to have something to hold over her!!!

Get your daughter to help with the maintenance. Always good to have knowledge of your car.
