New Punto HGT owner, checking in

Evening all!

Just purchased a 5 year old black FIAT Punto HGT. Should be taking delivery of it tomorrow.

Car history is:
Alfa Romeo 156 1.8TS
Alfa Romeo 156 2.4JTD
currently running a Ford Cougar 2.5 v6 (truly awful car)

And due to me wanting an Alfa 156 3.2 GTA, I need to run something cheap in the meantime and have some fun while I'm at it!

Hi . Also nice taste in cars you got! I agree the Cougar sucks ass. Since when is a HGT a cheap car though? . I would also like a Alfa 156 3.2GTA its a complete RIOT .

Why on earth did you buy a Cougar?!?!
Ford haven't sold a decent coupe in the UK since 1988

Full marks for the Alfas and the Punto though the GTA looks utterly barmy, therefore I want one too

I don't know what posessed me to buy a Cougar, I suppose I always liked the looks. Shame that the drive was an utter letdown :bang:

Anyway, updated profile to say Blackburn, North West and here's a pic of my new toy!

As mentioned, I'll be returning to Alfa, just as soon as finances allow! And believe me, after running a 2.5 or even a thirsty 1.8, a Punto is cheap to run!

I will not be chavving the Punto up though, I'm far too mature for that!
Instead all the cash is going to go under the bonnet!
