Wife has just been hit hard by a motorcylist whiles turning right. I was follwoing her a 50 yards behind and saw the whole thing happen. The m/cyclist was OK ish until I got out my car..so to speak!

At least it wasn't the Jag!

Was wifey OK? - that's the main thing. Who's gonna get the blame for this? The motorcyclist must have been travelling to do that sort of damage tho....might slow the tosser up in future!! If you can prove that the motorcyclist was 'speeding' then even if normally, your wife (I'm not saying that she was) was to blame, then this automatically reverses.

M/cycist to blame

Wifey was indicating for some time (witness behind to prove as well) then the m/cyclist overtook from 2 cars behind (crossing over the chevrons that had been painted on the road to warn of the danger of overtaking by a side junction!) and went into the side of her. The car behind my wife even flapped his arm to wave the guy back but he was a real **** and just sailed into her!

I was behind the m/cyclist by pure chance on the way back from the shops and watched it all happen. Wife was as shocked to see me as I think the poor bugger on the bike which is why he was very slow to take his helmet off!

Police came along mob handed (not for me-ha!) and told us to go while he shall we say, questioned the biker.

Wifey is OK, though shaken and the biker got off very lightly but he will be very sore for a while. Oh and his Fireblade is a bit shagged as well

I presume the bike was overtaking? F'in idiot!!

seing as the car's bright yellow, I suppose the biker's going to find it hard to say 'sorry mate, I didn't see you'.

It looks a brute in the flesh, all red and agressive..my mate phoned me from the car in front as we were driving along today and told me I looked like a pitbull in it as the whole thing looked so evil! Pit bull - moi?

I agree on the yellow...but then I never said otherwise, one thing though I wont park them too close to each other, it will look like ketchup on fried eggs!

I am quite glad I dont have to polish the damn Jag in black though, as red is bad enough when a mate put his grubbys all over it - he wont do it again.

Do you think the scratch on the HGT will T-Cut out?

Almost the same thing happened to my Steel+ a couple of months ago.....

It was in the shop for about 2 weeks, and cost about 2500£. (Thank god not mine). They changed the whole left side of the car.....

The main thing is nobody where injured, but maaaan those pictures makes my heart cry....

Hows things? Been away for a bit due to the lack of an HGT.

Got full and final settlement for mine nearly 6 months after the incident. NCB fully reinstated

Hope this ones sorted sooner for you
