hi.
yes its just been serviced.
this is a big change for me as i used to be a service manager for a vauxhall dealer.
always had vauxhalls mainly astras, but i just fancied a change and liked the look of bravas.
whats petrol consumption and performance like.
cheers ian.

Hi Ian!

Welcome to the forum.

My Brava is the same model as yours and the same colour as Helz's. I love the shape and the fuel consumption is very very good indeed.

BTW, how's your rear screen heater, washer and wiper motor? Just curious :)

hi.
all electrics working ok.
mine is metalic green.going to look around for cd changer.
i like the shape of the car,and performance is amazing for a 1.2 engine.
only got it yesterday and have not tried it on long run yet.
do not see a lot of them on the road up here in newcastle.
will not be using dealers as i was a time served mechanic then went on to be service manager.used to work for rolls royce dealer, then alfa romeo and finaly vauxhall.so should be able to look after fiat.
cheers ian.

Last long trip I made was to London and back at the end of September (from Nottingham). It was a very sad occasion unfortunately but the Brava performed faultlessly, and I used just under half a tank of unleaded, according to the gauge.

CD-changers for the standard Brava/Bravo set up appear very occasionally on eBay. The wiring into the boot is there on mine but I don't know if it will be on yours. Apparently they didn't fit it on later models as a cost-cutting exercise.

You will have probably "met" Wimmy and looked at the BOO site by now, but if not, http://www.fiatboo.co.uk is another site to look at.

Don't forget there are plenty of us on here too :)
