Technical New multipla

hey guys.

i am thinking of buying the new multipla, 08 model i believe. does anyone have any experience of this car? one of the main things i wanted info on was the boot size. apparently it has 430lt min and 1900lt max. this is actually better than a zafira and focus (two cars i was told had VERY big boots). is this usable space as in length and width or just because it is tall? i mean to say that if it is due to being tall you can't really load up shopping one on top of the other ideally. obviously, length and width space can be utilised better.

The rear seats in the Multipla can be mounted in two positions giving more/less back seat leg room or boot room, the boot is wide and tall but still reasonably deep, I had mine in the more boot room position and managed fine with it for 6 years. There were 5 of us and a Labrador and I used to take out one back seat giving plenty of space for luggage and dog. I sold mine at 90k miles and would have got another but we got another lab and the boot space was not enough for two of them and luggage.

It's a Multipla, so the boot is wide and as has been said you can put the rear seats in two positions to increase boot depth. The best thing about the Multipla's boot is that there aren't any seats in it, so you get the car's full people carrying capacity without having to sacrifice the boot to fit in passengers.
Having said that, because the Multi is short and wide you might not be able to carry long bits of stuff home from the diy store as easily as in one of its longer rivals.
