hi everyone, im new on here, but have a problem that is driving me mad,
I have a fiat multipla 2001, bought it about 2 weeks ago, was told when i bought it that it needed a new lambda sensor as the engine light was on (amber) bought one from ebay (not from fiat dealer) all seemed ok that night but the next day the light came back on, then the "oil pressure low" light came on and the car started to cut out when warm. was told to replace oil pressure switch but it made no difference so changed spark plugs, oil filter, and oil, problem still there. as are the 2 warnings. had a diagnostic machine have a look tonight, was told could be the brain or some sort breathing filter, (cant remember the proper name)
cant afford to waste any more money, so wondered if anyone else has had the same problem.. someone did tell me that if the lambda sensor that i fitted was not from fiat itself this could cause the brain to not work properly, any ideas?? thanks for taking the time to read.
