Grande Punto New member hi

hi all, I've just got my first car, a 2006 Grande Punto 1.4 8v having passed my test last week. I'm getting it ready for regular use and doing some jobs including oil/air/plugs service, rear axle bushes, timing belt and water pump with my dad's help. I hope to get some useful info from the forum and be able to share my experiences of working on my car. So far - cleaned off much rust and painted axle and parts of underbody, fitted new exhaust ant fitted meyle bushes in rear axle. We are now on to the timing belt/water pump job so will check forum for tips. Bw, Jack
