I just brought this

I got a few questions

Before it gets warm it clatters

When I start up I expect to see the glow plug light like on other diesels but it don't come on. I assume it the light that look like curly M

It needs a cambelt so how long would that take a garage to do?

Brakes are really crap. Think they just need to be bled as pedal is spongy

Clattery on idle when cold is normal. Glowplug symbol is the curly m type.
Dunno how long the timing belt takes tho. Brakes aint the sharpest on the mareas I was convinced mine had an issue for ages when I got mine turned out they just aint that brilliant.

Can I get a new key cut at places like timpsons. I have no red key but blue key should hold imobilisor info, should it?

It's not too hard a job if you can get the parts from a scrappy.

I checked fuse ,it seem ok

The wiper arm feels a bit limp and is further south than what it suppose to be

Pop the back off and check there is voltage available to the motor.

The fixings for the tailgate trim are a bit hidden, I had help on here when I took mine off to grease it so it's all in the archives. I find the brakes on my car to be perfectly good with a nice firm pedal so maybe that is all thats needed. Weekends do seem to chew through front pads and discs tho so worth checking.
