[FONT="]I have just made a deal to buy my first X1/9 Bertone Gran Finale ‘89. I hope to pick it up this Saturday coming. I guess you can call me a petrol head as I have been into cars since before I was a teenage girl (and no I will not divulge my age now lol). Many of them were American muscle cars, but I also had cars like the Datsun 280 ZX, Mazda MX3, Jaguar XJ40 and Mini to list a few.[/FONT]

After looking around for a while and seeing some very sad cases of RUST for my first X1/9, I finally travelled 300 miles to see a dark blue one in Cornwall. Yes it has a few superficial rust areas but I knew it was the one I wanted.
I will take a photo of it after a nice clean and polish for all to see .
As I am new to Fiat and to X1/9’s in general, advice would be so very welcoming from anyone who has had one. I look forward to more communications through the forum wherever you are.
