Couple months ago I've buyed my first Fiat Punto Evo Multijet 1.3 from 2011. I always loved this module but didn't always hear good things about it. But I thought, F it! Want experience the car myself and found one I liked an the maintenance was good so far. Love the car so far. Drives really nice and I just like the looks of the car.
I like to learn new things so I began my search for more information about the car and how things work. So far I replaced several parts myself and installed a audio system with 2 sets of two components speakers with a amplifier. Built in another radio with android car play and a rear parking camera, just because I received it for free with my Car play radio
Replaced the original audio cables with better wires and thicker gauge. So it works perfectly. I have added sound insulation to the car doors for better sound performances.
I've joined the forum to find more information about how to maintain more difficult parts like replacing the timing belt and cleaning the injectors.
So far I did a oil change with oil filter, air filter and interior filter. Going to replace the fuel filter soon. Replaced the window mechanism because the cable snapped. Turbo inlet hose was bad 2 and replaced it. Multi belt needed a replacement to, so did that to.
Little by little Im getting wiser and looking forward to learn more from here. So if anyone has suggestions for where to look first, let me know!
