Just bought new head unit.
Do i need two seperate wiring adapters if i want to use steering wheel controls? Ie, one for the actual unit for power etc, and one for remote control? or does the one that u buy for remote control have all the wiring for the the rest of the unit?

Although Marea's use ISO block, I am pretty sure the wiring for power and ignition live are wrong way around and may need correcting. When I installed my Alpine they were the wrong way round, and not all stereo's are compatible with steering wheel controls anyway.

yup that is true, on my ISO to Sony adaptor it has plugs on the red and yellow so you can switch them is they are wrong :) easy peisey:p

the steering adapter (such as the ones made my autoleads) will only work on the steering controls, you still need the standard iso adapter for power and speakers.

also i should warn you the steering adapters only work on headunits with autochanger controls. most headunits dont have this, especially CD player headunits, so if it doesnt work that may be why. check first

All fitted. Clarion head unit. Had to switch the powere wires on iso block. But all works sweet now. Not bothering sither steering wheels controls. Do my head in any way. Nice one folks!!!!!
