Hello. Been a owner of a Fiat Abarth since 2013. Bought the car new and have 75,000 miles on it presently. Not much of a car person prefer motorcycles but still like the car very much. Kind of blew off required maintenance and now paying for it. Rear end bearings are shot. Bought a set of MOOG bearings along with new shocks and Ran up on a issue. Got three of four lug nuts off and one just spins.:mad::mad:Lug nuts appear to be junk and plan on replacing. Since we are replacing the hub assembly kind of figured to just drill the lug nut out. Good idea or not? Kind of got the idea that the local tire place here in Henryetta Oklahoma hired a monkey. Lug nuts are way over 75 ft lbs. Any help appreciated.

With most fiats wheel hubs/bearings are reasonably cheap (at least here in europe) and fairly easy to replace, If the thread is damaged then you're going to have to change the hub/flange anyway, so might as well drill it out and replace it, you've gotta get the wheel off whatever the case.
