Hi everyone.

Just wanted some general opinions/advice. My Wife has been lucky enough to have been given £10k for a new company car (her '03 Yaris D4-D is too small for me to drive comfortably). Sadly for her, the Audi A3 of her dreams was just too dear, but she found a worthy alternative, an '07 plate Stilo 1.9D sporting 150.:slayer:

We were just wondering if there were any common complaints/faults associated with this car, and also of any tips or quirks we should know about. One thing we were a bit annoyed about is the dealer saying an ipod adapter is no longer available for this model, so we're gonna have to get a USB 'stick' type player for it. (anyone know any decent models with good sound and decent storage?)

Hopefully we'll have picked it up by this time next week, and we're really looking forward to razzing it 'round the place:)

We look forward to hearing from others and posting our experiences with the car.

Thanks.

BJ.

Its one of the best engines i the stilo so good choice and a great find :D

Have a look in the stilo section and you will find some bits there on the car (y)

Hello from me and hopefully - welcome to stilo ownership :p

Howdy and welcome to fiat forum ..you should have very few problems with an 07 reg stilo most of the problems by then were well and truely ironed out (y)

Stilo's are fantastic, think the 1.9D will be a great engine too. Your wife will love the car. Any idea on what the spec will be, there are some nice options available on these cars.

It was registered in March '07. It was the dealer demonstrator and has 4400 on the clock.

It's a 1.9D Sporting 150.

Has: Leccy windows. Leccy mirrors. A/C (not climate control). Cruise control. 6 speed box. Bluetooth thingy. 17" 5 spoke alloys. Sporty seats. 'City' light steering button. CD tuner. Audio controls on steering wheel. Silvery grey

It also has a USB input adjacent to the little bubby hole on the dash to the left of the steering wheel which the salesman said was for an MP3 player. We hooked up a 2gb Philips stick type MP3 player up to it, but get nothing out of it. The player just has the file transfer display on it as though it's hooked up to a computer. Any ideas what the USB port is for? Gonna ask the guy at Fiat when i get the chance.

Other than that it's a great little car. I can't believe the amount of grunt on offer. I have a 3.0 V6 Ford Maverick 4x4, granted it's heavier and not as aerodynamic and although it has the same 0 - 60 as the Stilo you've got to rev the nuts off it (Lame-brained 4 speed auto box doesn't help matters here though to be fair). I love the instant grunt of the Stilo, especially in 3rd.:)
