I think the main crux of it is that the 3 "contestants" and their families are having to vie against each other for what is basically their lives. Yes the winner will be ecstatic but what a huge blow to the other 2. It reminds me slightly of the Running Man's Climbing for Dollars game.

Now all we need is the hole in the fabric of space time to send the book back so we can confirm if thats what really happened to these people.

Ach it's amazing how quickly that can be reduced!

It's kinda sad that it's come to that stunt to highlight the problem but as you said, job done. Since the age of 16 and having a free choice, I've always said if anything ever happens to me my organs are free to be donated - Im sure as hell I wont need them, so whats the problem?
