Hi All

I'm Mike. I've owned a Fiat Multipla 1.9 JTD 2005 model for the last 6 years, although I've only been driving it for 6 months (was the wifes car).

Has a lot of history. Cambelt snapped and tore the engine to shreds. £1000 later it was as good as new. Hasn't cost anything other than tyres and servicing until recently. Has 87000 on it.

Anyone got a Multipla with more miles than that still running beautifully??

Hello Mike,

We've had our 04 plate 1.9 ELX JTD for three years now and it has 87.5K on the clock. It does indeed run beautifully, probably because since we've had it we have spent about £7K getting it and keeping it up to scratch. In fact I'm just off to our local Fiat dealer to pick up a replacement trim panel (the original fell off the other day!).

Good to hear it's still going strong. I'm starting to spend a lot of money on mine so just checking it won't all go to waste. I do about 25k a year just commuting so it's going to get used a lot.

My 1st Multipla had 116000 when i bought it and 5 years later when I traded it for the newer type it had 152000 on the clock. The engine was as sweet as a nut and I only got rid of it because it had horrendous rust on the sills that would leave a pile on the floor if you tried to jack it up!
My new one has 34000 and sounds and runs exactly the same as my old one.
Best, most fun car I've had in 30 years of motoring :)

Mine has 145k on it.... Its had lots of owners and was written off when it was a year old, a few engine management issues at the moment but it's still going!

I saw one that went through Cannock car auctions with 260k odd on the clock recently.
