New dials

Was looking round my local scrappy today and theres a 1.8 HLX in there. Im wondering if i can use the dials out of that in my 1.4 S as the HLX dials have a rev counter and my 1.4 doesnt...the only problem i can see is that my mileometer is digital and the HLX ones are analogue. Can these dials go in my car as it is pissing me off not having a rev counter

nope! those are mk 2 dails and yours are ml 1 so they wont fit

even so i dont think they wud fit i didnt think that thye were interchangeable between the 2 models

Yes it will fit but the analogue mileage won't work as yours is digital.

Balls....what if i got some from a mk1 car with digi speedo? would i have to correct the mileage or would the car remember it when i plug the new dash in?

No mark I's had a digi speedo. Even if they did - it wouldnt happen

My MK1 Brava had a digital mileometer but I would very much doubt you could use it in a Bravo.
