Technical New clutch

Hi,

Now when the engine is dropped it would be a good time to check the clutch and if necessery fit a new kit. What are the differences between the kits?

The pressure plates are a bit different? Both works with the F model?

I believe that the KP1028 is the correct clutch. Just remove the current clutch and match it up to the correct one.

Hi Jake,

I was looking through some Fiat parts manuals for my car and noticed the pictures for clutch pressure plates. I was incorrect in my previous post. The correct pressure plate for a 500F/L/R is the KP1001. See attached pictures.
The other clutch plate is for a 126 650 engine/transmission. If you are running a 110F engine and transmission then I would say the KP1001 is the correct clutch plate.

Hi,

Thanks, no probs. Some sites(shops) says they both fit 110F engine. Thats weird because they look different. I haven't yet bolted of the clutch..
