Firstly gave trouble - difficult to engage into first gear, now does not engage to any, biggest one is when in neutral the car moves forward. Moment release the clutch can hear grinding noise. Someone told me the gearbox went wrong when the clutch worn out and now it got worse.

I don't understand this, anyone knows which part or where the signal from tyres get picked where is the receiver??, is there a switch??
2- since the clutch change- the speedometer does not work, and the ABS -

i got fed up and put in for sale - but I don’t think, anyone would buy it as it is. I am sad to sell scrap it as very recently it had reconditioned turbo fitted. New cam-belt, brand new set of tyres, and service.

PLEASE HELP - IF ANYONE CAN DIRECT ME FOR CHEAP GEARBOX TOO PLEASE. MINE IS 2.2DIESEL prestigeo

Thanks

It sounds like the car has been reprogrammed or somehow reset, the batteries in the tyre pressure sensors have a lifespan of 7 years but not all models have them fitted and they can be turned off or on by linking the car to a laptop and using Lexia.

Did you say the car has a new gearbox by a garage?

Just a question....
Was the clutch bearing fitted properly ?
If I'm not mistaken the clutch works by pulling the plate fingers out and not in
If the bearing is not properly fitted (there is a retaining clip) you never going to get any gears in.
I'm just asking because it happened to me when I changed my clutch/flywheel in my car and I had to remove the gearbox again to sort the problem.
I later found out that I didn't had to remove the gearbox the 2nd time around to get the bearing in just give the actuator arm a good push with a nylon hammer or similar and it will latch in the grove and lock in.
Hope it helps
