New Brava on the Block.

Hi, I'm new to this forum, I'm here to introduce me and my car.

I have a Brava_sx 1.6 (2001)
Mine is a silver one, and looking rather boring at the moment.
I wanted a blue one or something, considering every other car on the road at the moment is silver. But this is what I've got and I plan on making something of it.

I'm thinking of going with a Silver/black sort of theme.
I'm still young so I dont have lots of money to burn on it yet, and at over 90 on the clock, I doubt It'll be around long enough to be worth it.

I would like to ad a spoiler (a nice big one like Helz has), as well as tinting my rearlights and side repeaters. I would like some black and silver alloys, but I cant afford to spend £300 just on wheels alone.

I'm not really sure what else I can do. I want to steal the front grill thing off a marea, because I think the black one looks nicer. I might steal the idea of editing the badge to say "FAT" and I want to put a Y on the end to make it a Brava_SXY. Im also interested in interior styling, because I think its currently butt-ugly!!

Also, does anyone know how to get rid of dog smell? It seems to have come free with my car

Anyway, If anyone has any ideas for me, or links to cheap parts etc. feel free to reply or send me a PM or whatever.

lots of the in car scents that you can get to put over the air-vents

makes my car smell lovely (i dont let a dog near my car btw)

Havent posted on this forum in a while - so heres a quick update.


Car is now lowered, drives much better now. I got hold of some hlx alloys that were in bad condition, sanded them down, painted the fronts gun metal, the backs bright orange. Orange wing mirrors to match, and orange hillbillyracers.co.uk stickers. Rear lights and 3rd brake light tinted.

Could probably do with replacing my number plates - but im told like they are, they dont get picked up as easily by cameras.

I may be totally confused here, but I always thought there was only ever a 5dr Brava and the 3dr model was the Bravo, or so I was led to believe by someone - they're obviously incorrect if that's the case!

Im just pulling your leg. The brava comes as is, so theres not really any need to mention how many doors it has. I hear you drive a 4 wheel punto...

Anyway - I know 5 doors are generaly thought of as family cars, but lets be honest, the rear lights on bravos are pretty boring... I chose the brava purely based on the rear end.
