Hi, I recently noticed the right front wheel of muy Ducato 244 2.8 jtd was hotter than the left one after a few kilometers.
I rase up the vehicle and saw the wheel was braked.
The caliper had lot of rust so I replaced it.
When l loosened the brake hose, I noticed no much liquid went out but I Installed the new caliper thinking after bleeding all will be correct.
Well, the thing is now the caliper is totally stuck.
It doesn't relax at all.
The pedal rests hard with pression.
When bleeding, liquid comes out, not air.
Do you think it's the hose that may be a little clogged?
May be the pipes from master cylinder, the proper master cylinder?
Thanks...

See if slackening the rubber brake hose connector at the inner end as it is not unknown for the hose to block internally.
Note do not try to clear it, instead fit new!
If the fault was nearer to the master cylinder then other wheels would be seized also.:)

Fit a long clear hose on the nipple.
Open nipple & have someone push slowly on the pedal.
Take note of fluid flow.
Lock nipple, fill brake fluid container
& do the same on opposite side.
This will give you a comparison.
Also was the Caliper a brand new one or a good used one that you fitted.

The caliper is totally new .
I think I 'll replace the hose, bleed and see if problem was fixed .
If not, I'll try what you say.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Yes , I'll replace the hose and see if the problem will be fixed.
Thanks a lot fir your answer.

Something that seems to have been forgotten, is that the x244 has dual hydraulic cylinders on the front wheels. Are both cylinders bleeding freely?

Well , the caliper I put on is totally new.
I suppose it's not failing as the one I removed.
Tomorrow I replace the hose and we'll what happenes.
Thanks for your comment...
