Tuning New BOV From Forge

by looks matey it doesnt sound to clever from what your saying, thought you get instructions for it ? or was that for the 500 aswell.
Stick with your baileys dump valve i had one on my tjet and that sounded good and no lights came up on the dash.

works fine now, not as loud as the baileys though. I think it needed freeing up or something because it now sounds fine? lol The baileys would vent when on half throttle so now the FORGE one is working it holds closed untill it creates enough boost to open the gate, whereas the baileys would dump everytime regardless of what the boost it. So the car runs smoother and gearchanges are much smoother than before. Will get some pics up this weekend hopefully (been mega busy decorating (n))

That's where i'm looking for :) The bonalume version dumps also everytime regardless of what the boost it..

I'm very curious after the pics/video :)

Sorry for the delay - some pics to keep you lot satisfied for a bit untill the video is one

Looks nice!!

Will it safe to place the BOV kit on a remapped engine with 146.5bhp and 220 ft lb?

I have a K&N panelfilter and Forge intercooler also :)

I very curious after the movie of the sound  :D

well yes.. mine was mapped at 156 when it was pretty standard, with a map tweek it should be 175+ so its pretty safe (y)

Still waiting for a couple of movie's :p

1 with the hood open when your rev to 2000-3000-4000-5000 rpm :)

and

1 when you are driving :)

:p:D

Im still getting it to work 100%,

first off i had it sat right ontop of the intake pipe, the vacum hose hit the underside of the bonnet but it worked and sounded perfect.

then i put a 90% silicone pipe in to lay the bov flat so it didnt hit the bonnet, now instead of making the tsssht noise it squeaks which is very irritating. I have contacted forge about why it is making this sound and the reply speaks for itself - i am VERY dissapointed in how they have responded and will not be spending any more money on their products

'Hi, unfortunately this product was designed for the 500, although the engines are the same we have had it in the past where there maybe some slight differences in the two thus giving you your problem. We have not had one in yet to test fit one on.'

So basically Forge are selling a product that they have not tested at all

They have now said that it could possibly be the o-ring has a split in it which is causing the noise, and are sending me a service kit to see if that solves the problem.
