Hi Guys and Gals!!
Just joined after seeing a message on ebay.
Own an "R" registered Barchetta in Red. Sold my beloved Coupe 16V N/A a few months back when I bought my little boat, really really didnt want to let the coupe go after rebuilding and loving her but to be honest, I drive the Barchetta much more than I did the coupe
Bought my Barchetta with several teeth missing on the cambelt and in a general state of unloved tattiness!
Rebuilt the head with all sixteen new valves and a skim and now she purrs beautifully. Fitted a new mohair hood and chrome hoops so the only thing she needs now is a respray to have her looking perfect.
Question, I thought it would be a good idea to take the leather seats out and clean/feed them so I did...........but on putting them back, the red airbag light stays on. II now know that I should have disconnected the battery first, ca aybody tell me what I need to do to extinguish the light or is it a main agent rip off/fix?? kind regards clive.
