Hi, I am picking up my new (to me) Fiat (Grande in Europe) Punto Sport (Sporting in Europe) 1.9L Turbo Diesel. In the Caribbean Orange, stock standard.

Has just over 30000Kms, love the look of it and could not walk past it with that colour, it just had to be mine.

I owned a 124 CC Sport for 2 months when I first got my licence until it died an unfortunate death. I also have a 1982 E28 BMW 528i.

I cannot wait to pick her up.

Looks like a good club too.

Cheers,

Mark

Here I am :p

Welcome mate!

How much you paying for it? Dealer or private? Presumably MY06, right? (Very interested in the GP's resell value here locally hence the questions (y))

Thanks guys for the warm welcome.

Starting price was ~$22500, but I paid $21132 drive away for the car. It is a MY06, think it was 8th month compliance, first registered October, so still has a little bit of factory warranty left too (y)

I am picking it up on Saturday, and cannot wait.

I live on the Northside of Brisbane, at Eatons Hill, where you guys all from?

By the way, I am a member over at eurocca.net, and it is an Australian based European Car Club, so it'd be nice to see you guys over there.

There are one or two members over there with old X1/9's too, so well worth a visit.

That sounds kind of pricey for a MY06.. especially when there isn't much warranty left..?

 A warm welcome to FF from one payney to another :D

Great choice of car mark :yum: looks like it's not just our surname we have in common.

I have an aussie relative, somewhere along the line we're probably related :worship:

Neil.

Thanks again for the warm welcome guys. Has been a week or so now with the new car.

I believe it was a pretty good price for the car, didn't see too many around for that type of money (mind you most had a few less kay's) but I am happy that I got a reasonable deal for what it is and the type of nick it is in.

Payney1- I believe there would be a pretty good chance that we'd be related somewhere down the line, but I don't even know half my relatives around the place, and your sporting looks the goods to.

Thanks again guys.
