Hi All

I have recently purchased a beauty! She's all ready to go, and I have camped in her twice already.

Got her some new tyres and getting a cambelt fitted this week just to be sure!

I have two sunroofs, and I found some drips leaking... boo!!

Any clever tips on how I can stop/repair these

Many Thanks

Chelle

Happy camping

PS
Will upload photos soon.

Hello Chelle, welcome to the forum. You are the second Murvi owner to join this week:) A picture would help someone coming up with a solution to your water leak.

Mike

Welcome! Does depend on the exacat type fitted but generally... Make sure the gutter areas and drains are clean. Gaps under wind seals? Clean the seals and silicone grease sparingly. In so doing both you might spot any actual damage or poor sitting areas. Have fun! :)

You need to get the rooflights sorted quickly. Dampness (water ingress) is a slow killer of coachbuilt motorhomes. Severe cases can cost a lot of money to fix.

Get a Damp meter (or get someone who has one) and check for dampness around the rooflights. In fact if you have just acquired the motorhome, get a full damp check done.

With rooflights, it may be just a case of removing them and refitting with new sealing compound. It is an easy enough job but as a newbie to motorhoming you would be better off getting someone more professional to do it.

Best of luck.
