General Needs Help! Fiat Uno from Manila

i own a fiat uno (1995...by the way fiat pulled out of the philippines about 8 years ago)

and now my transmission is busted, and i just cant find a shop to buy one!
i love my uno so selling the car is NEVER an option...

can i change the engine to toyota 4efte (turbo)? any advice in people?

You can fit any engine in any car if you try hard enough hehe. Any 4 cylinder fwd engine/gearbox should be able to fit but will probably need custom mounts.

thx sir! is the european version comes with rear disc brakes? (mine is a 4door)...coz might change my breaks and suspensions as well?
