I`ve just recently put a set of 17`s on my Bravo without touching the arches, springs or struts but its rubbing like you wouldnt beleive. So i`ve decided to get some hard springs and maybe lower it about 25mm. What kind? Im thinking either Eibach or Pi but im not sure. Has anyone had any experiences with Springs

i have abarth spring (aka eibach) and i would say that they are fine but the ride is hard!

Your wheels should be fine! i think your wheels have the wrong offset! they sound like they sit too far out in the arch...if so send them back ASAP!

what size tyres do you have on your wheels chris?

they shouldn't rub if you have the correct tyre size.

ANY IDEAS DAN

Ive got 17's and mine but still waiting for dan to tell me where abouts he got the springs from cos mine is only a 1.2sx

Cheers

Cheers Dan, for replying. I`ve got the wheels on 205/40/17 Nankang Tyres. They`re good but i still need some springs. everytime i go over a bump with myself and a passenger in the car, the wheel comes up and smacks off the arches. Im thinking that i just need some sort of hardening spring to take the blow when going over a bump

Re: Cheers

i lowered mine on 35-40mm PI springs - they have stiffened the ride but it's not too hard, and the look is much better than not being lowered with 17's on. PI springs brand new are about £90, then there's getting them fitted on top of that.
