Need Serious Help on Wipers!

Well people i posted yesterday about my wipers.. and yes it has been raining the whole day.. was driving and this time my fuse didnt blow.. but what did happen was the wipers keept on pausing when pushed up on the switch to wipe once.. I now have to hold the switch up to wipe once otherwise it will just get stuck anywhere. when pushed down to wipe every 5 seconds it will not have the gap of 5 secz it will keep on wiping.. and when pushed down again it will wipe normal again no seconds of gap normal wiping..


can it be the relay by any chance? can some1 please help me!

There is a relay on the wiper motor itself, only a scrappy part im afraid as Fiat dont sell it seperate.

But i would also think the wiper stalks could be to blame. See repair guide for more info to repair them.

ok thanks for that.. that might be the problem as machanic as checked the motor thats fine checked wipers thats fine.. checked all conntions near reply thats fine.. but has not checked the Stalk Unit.. as that can be the problem.. becuase when the wiper switch is pressed up once to wipe once it will not do it and the wipers will just be stuck. when pressed again it will move abit and stuck again.. i will not know how to repair it but will ask the machanic to do it..

if i took my car to the nearest fiat garage would they be able to sort it out??

would put a fiver on it being your stalks, joske did a ver indepth guide, as always, on them not long back, take a look, will be a lot cheaper than taking it to fiat...

yes it can be that but you see i dont know much about cars. so i cannot do it.. as i might mess something up lol

Well got a electrician to check the relay and found of the relay was to blame.. so the electrician told me to go scrap yard and buy another motor.. fit it in myself and its sorted!!
